ABOUT THE PROJECT
UAP Media UK was formed in late 2020 by four like-minded individuals who are working hard to bring a serious resource to the British media outlets on the discussion of UFO’s.
For decades, the subject has been treated as a taboo and generally mocked and laughed at. In recent years, the government of the United States of America, their Department of Defense and Navy have all confirmed that not only are objects of unknown origin operating in our skies and seas, but they have had programmes to study these objects they call “Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon”.
In contrast, the government of the United Kingdom does not tend to discuss or acknowledge the subject which is both frustrating and concerning given that across the Atlantic, the United States is looking at a potential threat that these objects could pose, given their extremely advanced capability & technologies. In 2017 it was revealed on the front page of The New York Times that the Pentagon had been investigating the subject of UAPs for decades under various titles and in August 2020 came the announcement of the official formation of a ‘UAP Task Force’ which will continue these investigations and make some of the finding public. Their first report is due mid-2021.
Our goal, is to provide information, context and resource to the UK media and others to approach the debate on objects of unknown origin with a serious tone, bringing the conversation to the publics attention, as it is being done around the world. We aim to not only remove the public stigma surrounding the topic, but to minimise the inaccuracies and unverifiable science fiction approach that so often pervades the UK broadcast and print media.
Two additional members Graeme Rendall and Vinnie Adams, joined in 2021 to complement our expertise, both of whom have proven invaluable to the project. We were also happy to announce that Dr David Clarke of Sheffield Hallam University also agreed to become an official member of the group in the summer of 2022, ushering forth a new exciting era for UAPMediaUK.
Articles and other documentation is added on a regular basis so follow UAPMediaUK on Twitter to keep updated.
